Memorex shows off new electronics

Memorex makes consumer electronics more fashionable than ever with new introductions to start the new year off in style. Memorex, one of the most widely recognized names in the consumer electronics industry and a portfolio brand of Imation Corp. (NYSE:IMN) , announces set-top and portable DVD players in contemporary designs, and the sleek iWake(TM) Up clock radio for the iPhone and iPod(R) to jumpstart the day.

iWake Up Clock Radio for iPhone(TM) and iPod(R)

The Memorex iWake(TM) Up clock radio is sure to start anyone’s day off right. Music lovers can wake to their favorite tunes - whether from an iPhone, an iPod, the new iPod(R) touch or the integrated AM/FM radio. Available in black or white, the iWake Up clock radio features a white backlit LCD display, snooze function, wireless remote and universal dock to power and charge all iPod devices. It also utilizes SRS(R) sound enhancement technology for optimal playback. The iWake Up clock radio for iPod will be available at retail in the spring for an SRP of $69.99.

Memorex Designer DVD Players

For teens, tweens and anyone looking to add some flare to their video viewing, Memorex’s new designer set-top and portable DVD players combine style with the latest technology. Each features a light pink metallic or rich black finish with an edgy multi-color silkscreen design for a fresh look in DVD players at home and on the go.

A mid-size progressive scan set-top player, the Memorex MVD2040-FLR Fashion DVD Player plays DVD, audio CD, CD-R/-RW, picture CD and MP3 CD formats and displays video with either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio. It also features Dolby(R) Digital sound, S-Video and component output, and a full function remote control.

Adding to the award-winning line of Memorex portable DVD players, the chic new MVDP1085-FLRB features an 8.4-inch swiveling widescreen LCD display and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. It plays all writable and re-writable DVD and CD formats, and built-in stereo speakers deliver high performance sound. Viewers will enjoy up to two hours of playback with its rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, while a full function remote control makes watching videos easy.

Both designer DVD players will be available at retail in April. The Memorex Fashion DVD Player has an SRP of $39.99. The Memorex Portable DVD Player has a SRP of $149.99.
