Iomega unveils updated eGo hard drives

Iomega eGo Portable Hard DriveIomega announced today some higher capacity and dual interface models for its Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drive line. This new hard drives range in price from around $140 to $230.

The Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drives include 160GB and 250GB models with dual USB 2.0 and FireWire 400 ports. They are available in red, black and white body colors. Iomega also released a new 250GB USB 2.0 model in red, blue and black body colors.

Features in common on these new models include the 2.5-inch hard drive design, USB power, Windows and Mac support , backup software and technology to help prevent drive damage when dropped. Iomega says all of its Iomega eGo Portable Hard Drives are available now.
