Bowers & Wilkins unveils wireless Liberty system

Bowers & Wilkins LibertyBowers & Wilkins is showcasing some rather interesting new pieces of audio gear during CES. One of these is the Bowers & Wilkins Liberty, a new integrated wireless entertainment system which will launch this fall.

The Bowers & Wilkins Liberty is a 5.1 system which sports wireless, cable-free speakers. The range of products in this system can include four speaker models and one combined digital radio and disc player with a wireless transmitter. The four speakers are the three-way, floor standing XTW 8, the two-way XTW 2 and XTW Centre bookshelf/stand speakers, and the PVW 1 subwoofer.

Bowers & Wilkins has loaded the Liberty with technologies to provide what it feels will be a quality listening experience. These include Kevlar drive units and Nautilus tube-loaded tweeters. No price as has yet been announced.
