Altec Lansing T612A new iPod/iPhone speaker system is being promoted by Altec Lansing at CES right now. It is known as the Altec Lansing T612 and you’ll find it will cost around $200.

The Altec Lansing T612, which should be available in February, is a digital audio system with an integrated dock for compatible iPods and the iPhone. Sound is provided through the T612 via neodymium speakers and bass enhancement technology. A wireless remote included with the system offers iPod navigation functionality for options like volume and track selection.

Another interesting feature of the T612 is support for incoming calls from an iPhone, meaning when a call comes in the music is paused until the call is over. There’s also internal GSM shielding to keep its speakers from picking up potential intermittent noises emitted by the iPhone and a standard auxiliary-in jack for connection to older iPod models as well as other audio devices.
