AlarMe watch alerts the hearing impaired
Here’s a great new concept watch from Nikita Golovlev that’s designed to assist the hearing impaired. It looks like a Sci-Fi wrist communicator, but it’s not made for talking. It will alert it’s wearer through vibrations if an alarm goes off in the area. This would be great not only for the hearing impaired, but for any elderly person who lives alone. It could easily save many lives.

It uses two built in multidirectional microphones that measure ambient sound levels. If the sound frequency changes the vibrations will go off, alerting the person of the alarm.

The watch also has LED lights on the face which will let the wearer know which alarm is going off and if the situation is serious or not. Alarm systems are geared toward those who can hear just fine, so this device will give those who can’t hear an equal chance to avoid danger.
