Adesso rolls out wide graphics tablet

Adesso Cybertablet Z12AAdesso is back in the news feed with word of a new widescreen graphics tablet which is bundled with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0. It is called the Adesso Cybertablet Z12A and pricing is set at around $180.

The Adesso Cybertablet Z12A is a 10- x 6.25-inch workspace one can use for drawing, handwriting, sketching and picture editing. The tablet, through the use of its ergonomic pen, lets you do what Adesso describes are “the most sophisticated computer-aided designing tasks.” Programmable hot keys can also be set on the tablet to launch programs.

Other features of the Z12A include USB connectivity, Adobe Photoshop Elements software and a transparent photo frame for personalization with photos and artwork. It should be available now.

    With Adobe Photoshop CS3 on Vista, its pressure sensitivity is completely broken. I have no idea whether the pressure sensitivity issue is a vista issue or a CS3 issue though. If I want to use this pad to its fullest potential… I have to do my work at one of my old computers. It works fine on Photoshop 7 in XP and win98se :/
