Sick Brick: Mini Boombox GSM Cell Phone

Posted in Sick Brick by Nino Marchetti on November 15th, 2007

boombox-mobile.jpgIt’s 9pm on a Saturday night and the DJ hasn’t shown for your house party. Guests are getting upset and your speaker system is busted. One possible solution is to bust out this Mini Boombox GSM Cell Phone, highlighted at Think Geek for around $150, and have it start belting out your favorite lounge hits.

The Mini Boombox GSM Cell Phone has 256MB of built-in memory, which can be expanded to 4GB via MicroSD memory. It sports a slide out keypad design so you can hide the numbers when your phone is acting as the center of the party. If you actually want to use it has a mobile calling device you’ll find it to be an unlocked, quad-band cell which works domestically with SIM cards from either T-Mobile or AT&T/Cingular.

Other features of the Mini Boombox GSM Cell Phone include “a 1.3 megapixel camera, voice dialing, SMS/MMS messaging and WAP Browser.” Think Geek notes this phone doesn’t ship with a SIM card so you’ll need one in hand to dial out. It otherwise just makes for a mini sound machine.
