Shaken not stirred: Martini from a machine

Martini from a machine

Finally the bartender won’t care when James Bond walks up to the bar all suave and delivers his classic line, “Shaken not stirred”. The bartender will just mix the ingredients and put them in this machine, while Bond waits. This cocktail serving machine is called “The Perfect Temperature Martini Maker” and is billed as a digital appliance that can shake or stir its stainless steel tumbler “until it reaches the optimal drinking temperature of 34 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring perfect homemade martinis at the touch of a button.”

It’s still up to the human to mix the ingredients, so if anything does go wrong, you are solely to blame. The 20-oz. shaker gives you enough room to make two martinis. It’s about the size of a typical blender, so it won’t be taking up a huge amount of counter space, which is always a plus.

It’s devices like this that are likely to leave the bartender bot shaken and stirred as he contemplates a not too distant future where he is no longer needed.
