Bluetooth, FM, USB-style charging: the Venturi Mini |
It’s called a convergence device by manufacturer NextGen Venturi. We just call it something really useful for your hands-free, music listening, gear car-charging experience. The new Venturi Mini is priced around $130.
The Venturi Mini acts as a device which draws power from your car’s cigarette lighter. It’s designed to sync with a Bluetooth-enabled music mobile phone so that you can stream music from the phone to your car’s stereo system. It uses FM radio to broadcast the music and also offers integrated noise elimination technology to cut down on background sounds. The Mini can pair with up to four Bluetooth devices as well as a MP3 player via an attached cable.
Other features of the Venturi Mini include a digital FM transmitter using RDBS technology to display information like caller id on a car’s radio screen, built-in microphone and stereo out for a direct connection when FM is not desired. It should be available in December.
