Unreal Tournament 3 gone gold |
Just nineteen more sleeps until you can run out to your local video games store and pick up a copy of “Unreal Tournament 3″ for the PC. Midway Games announced today that their highly anticipated first-person shooter has gone gold and is scheduled to arrive in retail shops on November 19. Two versions will be available, the regular one ($49.99) and a collector’s edition ($59.99) that comes with an art book and bonus DVD that shows behind-the-scenes material of the making of the game as well as toolkit video tutorials.
If you have played earlier “Unreal Tournament” games then you already know what lies in store for you. With a new gaming engine in place the third installment in Epic Games’ legendary FPS will likely more than deliver enough deathmatches, capture the flags and other game modes. There are new vehicles to try out like the hoverboard and new weapons to use against your opponents like the deliciously evil sounding Bio-Rifle. The Toolset feature promises to make it easier than ever to design your own custom levels and share them online with others. Midway promises that a PlayStation 3 version will ship soon after the PC one gets launched.
