I’m not sure whether this is the most ridiculous thing to come out of Art Lebedev design studio ever or it’s meant to be taken lighthearted, but here is their design for a 102-channels button remote control for your couch potato lifestyle. I’m guessing that the idea behind the Pultius TV remote control is to make it easier for you to go to channel 296 by pressing the “200″ button first followed by the “96″ button, a whole savings of half-a-second of your life by eliminating pressing a third button.
However I think that I have discovered the true benefit of owning a Pultius remote. Remember all those times you have lost your TV remote and couldn’t find it? Just try losing this one in the bowels of your couch or under the coffee table. If the rainbow spectrum colored buttons don’t grab your eye then the remote’s sheer size (20 inches) will mean that you will never lose track of where it is.
Lebedev tells us that the remote uses just three AAA batteries. Since it’s still a concept there’s no word on pricing or whether it will ever be a reality, but remember that this is the same company that has found a market for selling a $1,500 keyboard. It will happen.
