Nokia N95 8GB model with special Spider-Man 3 editionNokia has announced that today the larger capacity 8GB N95 will start shipping worldwide, going for about $764. The release has been enhanced for some geographical areas with a little help from Sony and the new N95 will come loaded with a feature-length version of Spider-Man 3, a Siper-Man ringtone and games. Unfortunately for those of us in the U.S. this is only going to consumers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The N95 8GB runs on the S60 Symbian operating sytem and houses 100MB of onboard storage along with the touted 8GB of flash memory. It also features a large 2.8″ screen (largest of the N-Series) at a 240×320 resolution and a 5 megapixel camera. Over $700 is quite a bit to throw down for a mobile phone, but keep in mind that this 3G (in North America) smartphone also will support the upcoming N-Gage gaming platform, has GPS support, Wi-Fi support with 802.11 b/g and even has TV-out.
