Chief CM7Here’s another one of those CE accessories you don’t think about but will probably want if you are a flat panel television fan who likes to mount his or her display. The new Chief CM7 flat panel automated swing arm should be available now.

The Chief CM7 is designed to work with 40-63” flat panel TVs weighing up to 180 lbs and controlled by a remote control. One presets the mount to limit movement of the arm relative to flat panel size before mounting the television in a low profile solution. It is designed to extended up to one foot from the wall, swiveling left or right while providing automated tilt for better viewing.

The mount itself includes a cable management system to help hide wires and cords from view. One has to admit this is pretty cool for flat panel users, especially if you like to mount your television in the bathroom as you take care of business.
