Überclok overclocking gaming PCs for the hell of it

Posted in Desktop PCs, Überclok by Nino Marchetti on September 11th, 2007

uberclok.jpgA newly surfaced computer gaming speciality manufacturer is promising overclocked, “high-powered and affordable” gaming PCs. Überclok is cranking up the power on two new computers - the $1,500 Ion and $2,500 Reaktor.

Überclok said each of its computers is overclocked out of the box and comes with a three-year warranty in case part of one melts down. The Ion is designed to work best with monitors up to 22-inches while the Reaktor is geared towards those with larger displays. A typical Ion might have an overclocked Intel EA4500 processor while the Reaktor sports an overclocked Intel E6850 one.

Überclok seems pretty serious when it comes to wanting to carve out some marketshre in the gaming computer manufacturer space. While that remains to be seen at least its computers look pretty cool with the lit up interior.
