Kensington LiquidFM Plus FM Transmitter for MP3 playersToday Kensington unveiled the Liquid FM Plus FM transmitter as part of a multi-product mass launch of devices. The LiquidFM Plus provides some MP3 listening convenience in somewhat of a ho-hum FM transmitter which houses a few nice but mostly not uncommon add-ons.

The gadget allows users to connect an MP3 player through the standard 3.5mm headphone jack (or through a 2.5mm adapter for cell phones) and then sends and FM signal to a car FM stereo, allowing you to listen to your MP3 player in virtually any car on the go.

In addition to this basic functionality the LiquidFM features something called QuickSeek which automatically scans and finds the best station to broadcast the FM signal on, ranging from 88.1 to 107.9, and will remember up to three of them. It also has USB pass-through with the purchase of an extra cable, allowing MP3 players or any other USB powered device to to be charged while connected. When listening Kensington has also added a technology called ClearFM to provide a better sound through the FM signal.

The LiquidFM Plus FM transmitter is available for pre-order now for $70.
