Nokia 6555: 3G, analog clock, very hip

Posted in Mobile Phones, Nokia by Nino Marchetti on August 21st, 2007

Nokia 6555Nokia is yet again going stylish on us with a freshly unveiled 3G flip mobile phone. The Nokia 6555 is looking hip and ready to let you make your first call.

Nokia says the 6555 is the first WCDMA phone with a “smooth-back fold design.” All we have to say is this phone is hot, especially with the analog timepiece on the front. The 6555 sports a generous, colorful 240×320 internal display screen. A built-in camera provides 6x digital zoom and offers a self-portrait mode with video sharing ability.

Other nice touches include 30MB of internal memory and quadband GSM support. The phone looks to be available shortly for around $200, though that will probably be different depending upon which wireless carriers are offering the phone to their customers.
