Matching up to the increasing number of notebooks being made with Bluetooth built in, today Logitech announced a the new V470 cordless laser mouse designed to work with notebooks having Bluetooth connectivity. The V470 uses Bluetooth 1.2 to connect to either a MacBook or Windows PC notebook, ridding you of the need for any type of external receiver required for most wireless mice. Logitech says the new mouse will be available in September in Europe and the U.S. going for $49.99.

The Logitech V470 comes in a glossy finish of white or blue, boasts a battery life of up to 4 months and includes a low-battery indicator light. The mouse also has a “zoom” feature along with Logitech’s side-to-side scrolling which gives the user both vertical and horizontal scrolling. This comes in real handy on wider pages viewed on smaller notebook screens.
