Logitech Pure-Fi Dream gives us iPod bedroom envy

Logitech Pure-Fi DreamLogitech wants to help set the bedroom mood iPod style as it unveiled today a “new category of iPod speakers for the bedroom.” While that bold claim remains to be seen the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream is coming in November for around $250.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream incorporates a number of different technologies into its stylish looks. You get your iPod docking/charging station with manual and remote control of audio features as well as LCD display of what’s currently playing. You get a digital FM/AM radio with presets. There’s also motion sensing for lighting up control buttons as needed and letting one wave a hand for snooze without touching a button.

Rounding off these interesting features is light sensing technology for auto adjusting the display as ambient light changes. It all adds up to what seems to be a well thought out iPod alarm clock. We’ll definitely have to think about the Logitech Pure-Fi Dream for under the Christmas tree.
