iZ3D tries to deliver 22-inch 3D gaming monitor

iz3d-22.jpgiZ3D, a developer of 3D imaging products, announced today the launch of a 22-inch 3D gaming monitor. The new 22-inch widescreen monitors are priced at around $1,000.

The iZ3D 22-inch gaming monitors incorporates S-3D drivers to take full advantage of a variety of high end performance technologies found in graphics cards and Intel processors. Dual modes let gamers switch between 2D and 3D gaming modes, with 3D gaming mode supported by included 3D passive polarized glasses.

iZ3D says its new monitor creates an “adjustable 3D environment without causing eyestrain, spatial disorientation or headaches.” It will be interesting to see if this holds true - I personally wouldn’t want to be wearing 3D glasses for hours on end.

hmm.. it depends how well it works, but i truly believe that we will play games and watch movies all in 3d… one day.

we just haven’t figured out how to do it RIGHT yet..

although maybe this is the right way, im not sure.
