OWC NASPerformOther World Computing is looking to offer you some pretty serious home or business network attached storage options with its new NASPerform device. This NAS offering is available in five pre-configured solutions up to 750GB maximum and has a starting price of around $128.

The OWC NASPerform, available for both Mac and Windows based machines, can connect to a local network through Ethernet to offer storage and sharing of photos, music, movies and other data with up to 20 users. The NASPerform also comes with a USB 2.0 port, allowing one to use it as a portable external USB hard drive.

The NASPerform, because it can connect through Ethernet or USB, offers what OWC says is easy installation. It offers the ability to assign read/write privileges to each network user to prevent unwanted deletion or modification of valuable data and also comes bundled with backup software and utilities. It weighs around three pounds, making what seems to us to be an easy solution for sharing on the go data with a lot of people.
