For the Serious Halo Fan

Halo replica weaponsWhat’s left for the universe of “Halo” to conquer? Handheld guns, of course. Jasman Toys got the license to make replica weapons from the upcoming “Halo 3″ video game and are set to release the first two models this October.

A Plasma Rifle (pictured) and Pistol from the Covenant side of the game (those are the bad guys) will arrive in toy shops and video game stores a few weeks after Microsoft releases the final chapter in the bestselling FPS franchise. Sometime in 2008 a Covenant Energy Sword will also hit store shelves. Jasman is making their “Halo” line of toy guns as authentic to the game versions as possible; for instance, the plasma pistol will have the same kind of lights and sounds as its gaming counterpart does, as well as a recoil vibration when you shoot. Also, when you hold down the pistol’s trigger you will be able to trigger a “super shot mode” just like in the “Halo” games. You will even be able to simulate the overheating of the weapons. Wow, you know these guys are serious when they duplicate the same problems for the real-life versions that you have to deal with in the game.

A Laser Pursuit target will also come with each gun so you can play laser tag when it’s not your turn at the Xbox.
