EQ Cordless Rocket Radio

EQ Cordless rocket radioThis rocket ship shaped cordless radio is the result of designer Sebastian Conran, who’s known for designing a number of shiny and interesting looking homeware items. The actual technical features of the radio are really nothing special as a standard digital clock radio with an AM/FM tuner and a rechargeable 36 hour battery.

What makes it interesting, as with any radio these days, is the package it comes in. What space-camp geek wouldn’t want this clock radio to round out their room decore full of NASA pictures, rocket ship comforter and glowing stars on the ceiling? For 150 bucks you better really like rockets with radios in them.
