Be a Couch PC Potato with Buffalo’s Kone

Posted in Buffalo, Television, USB by Chetz on July 12th, 2007

buffalo_dh-koneLet’s say that you want to watch the latest episode of “Lost” as it’s being broadcast and not have to resort to downloading the episode later on. Your sense of morals can rest easy when you have Buffalo’s DH-KONE/U2S USB 2.0 television tuner affixed to your machine!

The DH-KONE plugs into one of your computer’s USB ports. You can put it on the side of any metal wall and it will cling to it thanks to the unit’s magnetic bottom (if you don’t like that idea you can use the suction cup base.) While you’re watching Jack and Sawyer fighting over Kate, you can have the tuner look for other info about the episode, later programming schedules or the latest headlines or weather. You can also watch and record another program at the same time.

Buffalo’s DH-KONE will be available to Japanese consumers near the end of the month for 12,075 Yen. If you have an importer that can pick one up for you expect to pay around $100.
