Squid-tastic USB |
We’ve all been there: you’re trying to insert a new device into one of your USB ports but the connector that you’re holding is too big (or the ones already in your other USB ports are) so you wind up not being able to get it connected. This is the best solution to “small port sensitivity” as we like to call it.
Thinkgeek is selling the USB Squid for just $20. This offering gives you four individual USB cords that emanate from just one connection. The cords are very flexible to allow you to twist and snake them to connect to your flash drives, printer, or whatever and make sure that you’re not out of room to add a new peripheral.
Each USB port also has ridges on its top and bottom allowing you to stack them securely on top of each other if you need to. The USB Squid is also compact enough that it can be folded or wrapped up and packed into a small space. Now if someone would only make this idea happen for power bars.
