Bet You Can’t Pop Just One

PuchiPuchi Bubble Wrap ToyIt’s so odd that it has to be straight outta Japan: imitation bubble wrap. This little gizmo is called the PuchiPuchi Bubble Wrap Toy and it mimics the sound and feel you get when popping the sealed air bubbles inside plastic wrap. There are eight fake bubbles that you can press on the surface of the PuchiPuchi and each time you depress one a popping noise is played from a tiny speaker.

Press the bubbles 100 times and a different sound gets emitted, such as a dog barking or a sexy female sigh, like some kind of wacko Pavlovian reward for your ears. The thing comes in five colors and it can be hooked on to your keychain. It’s crazy, right? Crazy like a fox because we want one even though it is to bubble wrap what silicon implants are to breasts.
