Kingston MobileLite 9-in-1 Card Reader

Kingston MobileLite 9 in 1 USB card readerKingston has a USB memory card reader that’s able to handle a lot of the many types of memory formats out there, bundled into one small thumb drive-sized device.

The MobileLite 9-in-1 card reader connects via USB 1.1 or 2.0 direct to your computer with no additional cords, and has three slots that support 9 different types of memory cards. On one side of the reader there’s one slot that supports SD/SDHC, MMC, MMCmobile, RS MMC and MMCplus card formats. The other side has two slots that both support microSD, MMCmicro and miniSD card formats. When the MobileLite reader is connected to your computer, all three of the slots show up as separate drives to drag and drop files between your computer and the memory, or between each other.

Although 9 different formats in such as small device is certainly not too shabby of a feat, we can’t help but always ask for more, like support for a Memory Stick or those darned xD cards needed for my FinePix. The MobileLite 9-in-1 retails for $8.99 when you supply your own memory.
