iPhone rumored to release on June 29th |
Engadget, being cautious with their Apple rumors, has reported from a source that three new iPhone commercials have been sent for airtime with at least one of the commercials showing a release date for the iPhone of June 29th.
The iPhone has got to be the most hyped gadget of the year and perhaps of all time, and the anticipation of its release has gadget lovers everywhere on the edge of their seats. The last reported release date we wrote about was from CNET with a June 11th date, and there’s been a couple other dates floating around since then. Hopefully this is the final as it still fits into the late June definition.
Engadget also points out that the 29th is decidedly not a Tuesday, and Apple historically has favored a Tuesday release date, but waiting for the following Tuesday pushes them into July so we’ll just have to wait and see.
