Ninja Remote Controls Just About Any TV |
How many times have you been at a bar, restaurant or even at the gym when they have a television tuned into a station showing the history of synchronized swimming, or worse yet some popular singing contest. Wouldn’t be nice if you could discretely take control of the television and change the channel to something worth watching? Maybe if you had some kind of small remote control that could automatically find the code on just about any television?
The Ninja Remote from ThinkGeek runs for about $9 and is just such a gadget. Not any larger than a normal key fob for your car, this little remote can attach to your keychain and fit in your pocket wherever you go. By holding down the mute button for a little while the remote methodically scrolls through the codes for different TV manufacturers until you notice the TV mute. Once that happens you know you’ve found the right code and your set to change the channel, volume or turn the set off and on. The Ninja Remotes size allows you to do this unnoticed to avoid drawing attention to yourself as the culprit from all those reality show fans.
