Lexar Jumpdrive Secure II Plus With Capacity Meter

Lexar Jumpdrive flash memory comes with a capacity meter to tell you when it’s fullThere have been a number of innovations with portable storage over the past couple of years with everything from vastly increasing capacities to more informative drives, and Lexar is continuing with the Lexar Jumpdrive Secure II Plus. The “Plus” is an additional capacity meter that lets your know how full your thumb drive is without having to connect it to a computer to check.

This flash drive comes in a number of capacities from 512MB up to 4GB, with and 8GB model coming soon. It works pretty much like any other USB flash media by connecting it to your PC via the USB port and transferring whatever data you would like onto it. The big difference being that on the Secure II Plus, you can see when you drive is getting full by the gauge. The gauge continues to show the capacity when it’s not plugged into a computer, of course what would be the point if it didn’t?

The 4GB version is available from a number of online retailers for between $59 and $69 dollars, but no pricing available on the 8GB version, yet.
