Wii Sports Cuff Eliminates Wiinjuries

Posted in Remotes, Wii by Chetz on April 7th, 2007

Wii Sports Cuff helps prevent injuries due to losing control of the Wii remoteAfter one month of having its customers injuring themselves in Wii-related accidents, last December Nintendo started replacing the Wii remote strap with one that was more durable and held up to the heavy use that gamers were laying down on it.

Still, for some players the new and improved Nintendo strap may not be enough and for those people there is now an alternative: the Retractable Wii Sports Cuff. All you need do is attach your Wii remote to the neoprene Cuff and then wrap it around your wrist and you’re good to go. The retractable cord can extend to a maximum of 13 inches and when you’re not holding the remote the cord will slide back into the housing and leave your remote dangling from the end.

For just a penny under $10 this is a great accessory to have, but when it’s discounted by 40% it’s even better. No more black eyes!
