There’s no place like 127.0.0.1 floor matYou’ve seen those kitschy door mats at your friend’s house that have witty or funny sayings on them, right? “Go Away”, “Goodbye”, “Serial Killer Inside”…you know those ones, right? But have you ever seen one that encapsulates what it’s like to be online all the time?

Check out ThinkGeek’s door mat for the webmaster with a mortgage, a 2’ x 3’ polypropylene surface, vinyl backed show wiper that reads “There’s no place like 127.0.0.1” in raised white letters. If you’re not up to speed on what that IP address means, it’s the one used for a loopback network connection…so in essence, you’re looped back to your own home. Ahhh.

The cost is $39.99 which is slightly higher than the regular door mat but then again, we all know that this is not your ordinary door mat. At worst you’ll have the mail person wondering what your website is, and we’ll leave it up to you to come up with your own creative answer.
