Eureka N!ergy tent has battery and power outletsAh, the great outdoors. There’s nothing like getting back to nature and away from technology, right? Wrong. Screw that. What are you going to do if your phone or camcorder battery goes low and you want to look at some photos while it’s raining outside? Hey, it’s all about the what ifs, right?

Johnson Outdoors’ Eureka N!ergy 1210 camping tent solves all your portable energy needs. After buying the E! Power Pak rechargeable battery and plugging it into the tent, you’ve now got a stream of juice to power all your phones, lights, media players, hair dryer, air compressor, alarm clock, radio and so on, lasting you anywhere from 8 to 18 hours depending on how much power you’re drawing from it.

There are three 12-volt outlets recessed into the walls of the tent, each of them with their own blue light to indicate when they’re switched on and where they’re at. A power switch near the tent floor lets you turn each of the outlets on or off. The wiring system can be removed from the sleeves if you so desire but otherwise it’s tucked away and out of sight from kids or nibbling forest critters.

The N!ergy tent itself has 12’ x 10 ‘ floor space, holds eight, has two doors, 4 windows, 2 mesh panels, storage for gear and has other add-ons that you can pick up, like a weather station or indoor fan, all for a cost just under $200.
