Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-G1 Wireless Digital CameraSony recently announced its first wireless digital camera; the DSC-G1. Wireless digital cameras are a relatively new thing on the market. Basically, they allow you to send and receive photos via other cameras with the same feature. Those who want to upload directly to their PC can still do so without the use of wires, but this nifty feature will get rid of one of the many USB wires you have running into your computer, and allow you get those pictures that you’ve always wanted from your friend. Granted, he/she will need to have a camera with the same feature.

The DSC-G1 also features 912,000 pixels and a nice and wide 3.5inch screen. One of the greatest features about this new camera is the very large 2GB internal memory it has. Without any memory card, you will be able to store 7,500 VGA-quality photos or 600 6-megapixel pictures. If you need more space than that, there is always the memory card slot. Along with these cool new features, the DSC-G1 also includes very easy-to-use functions and an auto-focus for those with shaky hands.

Preorders have already begun for the DSC-G1 and will be available worldwide for a retail price of $600 in April.
