Samsung Ultra Smart F700The Samsung F700 is Samsung’s newest addition to the Ultra family of mobile phones. The F700 features a 2.78″ color touch-screen display, a 5 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, and support for 7.2 Mbps HSDPA.

The Samsung F700 has a touch screen that utilizes a “Drag and drop” interface for navigating menus. The touch screen allows you to control volume, play lists, brightness of screen as well as other controls.

The design is a slider phone style and has a QWERTY keyboard hidden underneath the screen. The QWERTY key pad implements VibeTonz technology which allows users to feel the buttons through responsive vibrations.

Touch screens are marking a recent trend in mobile phone interfaces. The F700 is the latest phone to incorporate a touch screen design. Other touch screen phones include Apple’s iPhone which was announced in January, and LG’s KE850 “Prada” handset.

The Samsung F700 will be showcased at 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona next week.
