Web 2.0 Name Generator

Web 2.0 Name GeneratorAre you looking for a name for your Web 2.0 company? If so, be sure to check out the Web 2.0 Name Generator over at LightSphere. The Name Generator tool will help you on your quest to find an original name. Be warned - you may need to open your mind a bit.

I’ve been in more than a few brainstorming sessions to try to come up with a domain name and it can be an excruciatingly painful process. Using the tool, I generated a few quick names to see what my options were:

Podpoint, Zoomspace, Oyonti, Tagzoom, Oonoodle, 42type, Zoomfire, Flipcube, Leeva, Zoomtube, Podchat, Lavu, Skiveo, Podware, Babbleworks, Plable

I’m a left-brained kind of guy which means it would be next to impossible for me to come up with something this unique. If anything, the generated names will spark some dormant creativity in my dull, unimaginative mind. Once you see one you like you can click through to a domain registrar to see if the domain name is available.

Most dictionary words (English) have long since been purchased, but there are still lots of opportunities to find a unique and memorable domain name. Don’t forget to look at the domain name aftermarket too. There are still many pre-owned domain names exchanging hands every day.

SlipperyBrick may sound like it came from a name generator, but surprisingly it didn’t. It’s a long story that I will have to save for another day.
