Rumors and photos of a new digital camera from Samsung have been circling the net, with the unique feature of a rotating LCD screen. We haven’t seen an official announcement on this yet, but the pictures are pretty convincing.

The Samsung i7 is a 7.2 megapixel CCD camera with 3x optical zoom and a 1600 ISO sensitivity. The camera also features a shake reduction technology that helps take clearer pictures, even with low light conditions. The i7 from Samsung is rumored as supporting MP3’s which is fairly unique for a digital camera, but the real eye-catching feature in this case is the rotating LCD screen.

The actual purpose of the 3 inch rotating LCD screen is not completely clear to us, but from the photos it seems to reveal some buttons that may be for zooming and navigating an on screen menu that may be only viewable when rotated. The LCD screen rotates up to 180 degrees which would allow different viewing angles, but why?
