too sexy to handle…but i was expecting it with a 3G version.I heard of one of the models that is yet to be launched,with 3G,windows mobile 5.7,multi functional touchscreen,7 MP camera with some 3x optical zoom,ipod,radio,mp3 player,anti virus n some other smart features to make the apple iphone a really smart phone.I must say,they have really done great job with the size,its handy,convinient,smart,sexy n last but not the least very slim.Neways its just a start,i wish them a good luck…may their phone gets a great success…rather a big hit…

It’s a phone for Apple geeks and sycophants who desperately feel the need to have the latest Apple “gadget ” in order to be cool.

The rest of use will shrug and say – it’s just a phone – there will be hundreds of simialr featured phones out there – and at better prices too.

(and it can’t be called iPhone either).

A closed system ? That really bothers me. The only applications to install on that phone will be apple’s own. What about all the cool J2ME games and applications out there. In my opinion they have underestimated the maturity of the cell phone market. Touch screen phones have been around for a while now – I haven’t seen a good device with a touch screen yet – it’s much better to feel the keys with your fingers. I like my blackberry query keyboard I guess you have to give Steve Jobs the benifit of the doubt – but I have my reservations – this is risky business – it’s not just about looking cool. I like the WiFi option – a good sign – maybe those greedy telcos will realise they can’t hog the networks forver. Perhaps the best thing that will come out of the iPhone is that more phones with WiFi will start popping up.

I don’t think apple understands that the market for phones these days. The mp3 market isnt near as competative, with new smart phones poping up every minute eg new Nokia N95 will be released with 5mp camera, is smaller and has many more specs than this phone, apple how do you expect consumers to fit this in their pocket. And realease date, next year in australia…. nokia putting out better phones Q1 2007? imagine Q1 2008…..waste of money and time apple.
