iCrib Adapts Your MP3 Player For the Crib

iCrib Sound SystemThe iCrib Sound System is basically a special speaker system that can mount on the rails of a crib and adapts just about an MP3 player to play music.

The iCrib has straps to mount to the rails of the crib, and has a holder for most MP3 players, provided the MP3 player is shaped somewhat like the iPod. The name, color and shape of the holder and the sound system in this case pretty much implies ‘iPod’ to me, but the manufacturer advertises that any MP3 player would work. The holder is removable so you can connect the MP3 player without removing the entire iCrib sound system from the railing.

The iCrib is actually more than just a set of speakers to play music, it has settings in order to help a baby fall asleep. The speakers have a sound output that limits the output sound level so that different songs will come out at a limited volume. There is also a “sleep” setting so even though your iPod can play for hours you can have the music automatically stop at a predetermined amount of time. There is also a setting to colored lights display along with the music. The player can have the lights only, music only or both the lights and the music.

Digital music is becoming very popular, and I am beginning to find it almost a nuisance when I need to mess around with a CD. I don’t think finding music for your children should be any different, and getting some use out of your MP3 player to download songs to help put your kids to sleep seems pretty convenient to me.
