Canon PIXMA MP960 Photo All-In-One (AIO) Printer |
This is the PIXMA MP960 Photo All-In-One (AIO) Printer from Canon. The MP960 is the flagship model in Canon’s line of photo printers and the only seven-color photo AIO on the market using the ChromaLife100 system and the FINE print head technology.
The ChromaLife100 System ensures that your prints enjoy a long life span. ChromaLife100 in conjunction with select Canon photo papers and inks, allows your prints to resist fading for up to 100 years when stored in an archival quality photo album. The FINE technology print head is a next-generation 3,584-nozzle print head that ejects precise ink as small as one picoliter.
The interface to the PIXMA MP960 includes a 3.5-inch high-definition TFT screen viewable at a 170-degree angle and a revolutionary Easy-Scroll Wheel user for navigating menus. The MP960 is the third model in Canon’s photo AIO lineup to feature the Easy-Scroll Wheel interface. The wheel is a familiar concept to users who have digital music players that incorporate a similar interface, thus making navigation of the editing, copying, printing and scanning options a breeze.
The Canon PIXMA MP960 can print up to 9600 x 2400 color dpi. Consumers can produce prints on a variety of Canon photo papers from the glossy Photo Paper Pro to the thicker Fine Art Photo Rag paper. The advanced seven-color ink system incorporates six dye-based inks, including a pigment-based black ink that produces laser-quality business documents.
The MP960 Photo AIO can print a borderless 4 x 6- inch photo lab quality print in approximately 35 seconds. Using the copier feature, you can expect 30 pages per minute for black and white documents and up to 22 pages per minute for color documents. The MP960 can print duplex and features two standard paper trays, one for plain paper and one for photo paper.
The scanner feature has a maximum resolution of 4800 dpi with vibrant 48-bit color depth. The scanner is designed to scan up to eight slides, twelve negatives and film using the built in adapter. The printer allows you to make photo reprints and enlargements directly from film or prints without using a PC.
